From its humble beginnings in post-war Romania to Israel to Australia, where its presence at the bustling Milton Markets is making quite a buzz, Beelieve Honey has captivated generations of honey enthusiasts across different continents.
Beelieve Honey’s story began in 1947, when the current owner’s grandfather in Romania discovered his passion for beekeeping. With unwavering commitment, the old man embarked on a journey of nurturing and harvesting honey.
Sixteen years after he started his beekeeping adventure, driven by a quest for new beginnings, he and his family relocated to Israel, bringing along their treasured beekeeping traditions.
Over four decades after that, the family decided to embark on yet another ambitious relocation, this time migrating to Australia in 2007. They settled in the idyllic Sunshine Coast, where they found fertile lands to cultivate their hives.
Whilst some of their hives remained in their newfound home, Beelieve Honey extended their presence to Woodford in Queensland, ensuring that the honey produced would embody the diverse flavours of the varied regions.
What sets them apart from the rest is their commitment to preserving the essence of pure, raw honey. Utilising a cold extraction process and employing gentle filtration methods, they ensure that every jar of honey retains its natural nutrients and flavours.
From their humble beginnings in Romania to their current standing as a beloved presence in various markets, Beelieve Honey has continually shared the sweetest of nature’s bounties with a loyal and appreciative audience.
Apart from the Milton Markets, you can explore their diverse offerings at the West End Markets, the Saturday Fresh Market in Rocklea, and the Redcliffe Markets.
