Broncos 2026 Indigenous Round Jersey Set For Milton Match Days

The Brisbane Broncos’ 2026 Indigenous Round jersey will feature at Suncorp Stadium in Milton across two NRL home games, with 17-year-old student Ladda Kaewhanam behind the design.

Student-Designed Jersey Bound For Milton

The Brisbane Broncos have unveiled their 2026 Indigenous Round jersey during NAIDOC Week, with the shirt carrying artwork by 17-year-old Beerwah State High School student Ladda Kaewhanam.

Ladda, a Whadjuk Noongar and Wangkathaa young woman from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, is the first student from the Beyond the Broncos Indigenous mentoring program to design the club’s Indigenous Round jersey.

The artwork is titled One Journey to The Other and was developed from Ladda’s work with help from Quandamooka artist Casey Coolwell-Fisher.

The design centres on connections across Australia, including people, places, generations and cultures. It also draws on family, identity, community and Country, while linking the jersey to education and the opportunities created through the mentoring program.

Suncorp Stadium To Feature 2026 Jersey

The jersey will be worn at Suncorp Stadium in Milton when the Broncos play the Dolphins on Saturday, 8 August, and the Warriors on Saturday, 15 August.

The two fixtures give the student-designed jersey a local match-day setting, with the shirt to be worn across both of the club’s NRL Indigenous Round games at the venue.

The Broncos’ NRLW side will also wear the 2026 design.

Broncos Campaign Centres On Jersey Artwork

The launch campaign features Ladda alongside Broncos Indigenous players Ezra Mam, Kotoni Staggs and Gehamat Shibasaki.

Romy Teitzel and Georgia Barlett are also featured as part of the campaign for the NRLW side.

Beyond the Broncos has supported more than 7000 students in 53 schools across Queensland and northern New South Wales since it began in 2015.

Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy acknowledged Ladda’s role as the first Beyond the Broncos student to design the club’s Indigenous Round jersey, with the design presented as part of the club’s connection with Indigenous communities and young people.

The Broncos also introduced Ladda as the artist of the 2026 Indigenous Round jersey on social media, where public comments included congratulations for the student designer and praise for the design.
