‘Tis the season to be jolly, so Brisbane is all set to light up the Brisbane City Christmas Tree.
The much-loved tradition is happening on Saturday 25 November 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at King George Square. Santa will join Lord Mayor Graham Quirk and special guests as the city welcomes the holiday season.

Christmas carols and festive mood will fill the air as Queensland’s biggest solar-powered Christmas tree is lit. There will also be special performances to spread holiday cheer to everyone. The Christmas tree will light up King George Square every night until Christmas Eve.
Brisbane City Council also has a line-up of programs for the festive Christmas season. These will be free fun events for all ages scheduled from 25 November up to 24 December, from Brisbane City, South Bank and Roma Street Parkland.
Some of the Christmas season events perfect for the entire family are the Gold Lotto City Hall Lights, which will feature a new magical light projection show this 2017. There will be Christmas fireworks, carols and movies in the park.
