First-Ever Silent Disco Yoga in Brisbane Happening at North Quay’s W Hotel

If you’ve never been to a silent disco yoga class and have been curious to experience what this is all about, you’ll finally get your chance as W Hotel is hosting this fitness event for the first time in Brisbane.

The silent disco yoga class is happening on Wednesday, the 15th of May, at The Great Room of the hotel in CBD. Set for a 90-minute workout session, the class will begin at 6:30 p.m. but participants are expected to be at the W Hotel at 81 North Quay by 6:00 p.m.

Kate Kendall, the founder of Flow Athletic in New South Wales, and Sydney DJ James Mack are leading the silent yoga class, where 160 yogis may be accommodated at the hotel’s huge space. This is a one-night-only event where participants can follow and perform the movements as guided by Ms Kendall while Mr Mack will be blasting the best beats and music for a pulsating workout.

Silent disco yoga is a unique experience because participants will be wearing headphones while they exercise. They’ll hear the music and the instructor’s voice crisp and clear through this headphone, thus cancelling any other noise that could distract their concentration. They may also adjust the sound settings to their preference

Participants of the silent disco yoga will receive swag bags containing healthy goodies, as well as healthy food and drinks during the sessions.

Tickets are at $55 each and you may book your slot online.
